Relief Wool Tapestry: "Illumination" (44" X 62")

This tapestry was designed by Dan Tarnoveanu; woven at the Institute of Fine Arts in Bucharest.   The technique used was haute lisse, which means that the tapestry was woven on a vertical loom; the material used was hand-dyed wool.
